Mele Kalikimaka Surf

Merry Christmas to everyone.  Despite reports that the wind was going to die down this morning, it actually seemed as strong.  Now I read that they extended the wind warnings and small craft advisories. 

About 8 takers in the water at Diamond Head.  Lots of duck diving, lots of chop, lots of paddling, but could get some if you lined up right.  I would call it waist to chest and there were times where they was a shoulder you could make like this one:

At the end of the day it was pretty fun and it was Christmas day so there was no way I wasn't paddling out.  Hope that everyone had a good one.  I know that this guy seemed to be the best prepared out on the water today.  Aloha
